We're all grown up and into our fourth year already! We've got a cracking festival line-up for you this year. It's going to be super busy with dlr Poetry Now incorporated into the book festival as well as a fun family programme. There'll be award winning novelists and poets, stunning new venues and some very interesting events and workshops. We've released some details already on our website .
Highlights include Howard Jacobson, who won the Man Booker Prize for The
Finkler Question, UK novelist Philippa Gregory, and IMPAC winner Gerbrand Bakker. The poetry line-up includes legends such as Mark Doty, Paula Meehan and James Fenton, while such luminaries as Robert Muchamore, Marcus Sedgewick and Philip Reeve are our guests for the family programme.
We're editing the details for the final version of the programme at the moment, it's due at the printers too, too, soon. All details will be available and bookings will open on July 20th.
