AN EVENING OF MOETREDY!

A 'music - poetry - comedy fusion event, henceforth to be known as Moetredy' beckons on Friday 12th September at 7.00pm in the Maritime Museum. Join dlr Writer in Residence Colm Keegan, musician Ailie Blunnie and comedian Eleanor Tiernan for a live arts session, Mountains to Sea's first cabaret event and trendsetter for many future Moetredy gigs!

Colm started his residency in Blackrock Library in June, where he held 2 recent sellout workshops and a packed event with fellow poet Gerard Fanning in July. As you can see from the photo, he has been on site checking out the new dlr LexIcon where he will have a dedicated room as part of his residency which continues until May 2015.

During the Mountains to Sea Festival Colm will be kept busy. Apart from his cabaret event, he will be running the festival poetry take-away (tweeting bespoke haikus), participating in The Dahl Factor on Saturday 13th and don't miss his performance of a Dylan Thomas classic poem at the Poetry Soapbox on Sunday 14th at 3.45. He will join other 'surprise' readers at the Dylan Thomas Poetry Shed outside dlr LexIcon.
